Welcome to the site, my name is Steven Killen, I'm a web designer based in London, England.
I enjoy every aspect of designing for the web, yes, even SEO. There is nothing better than embarking on an exciting new project and getting my teeth into a new design. I find coding and designing equally enjoyable so, in effect, I straddle the divide between designing and coding. Though primarily a front-end designer, I have been known to delve into the dark recesses of development from time to time.
I came to the conclusion that web design was the career for me through my love of computers and spending many hours of my youth designing title pages for my school essays when they weren't exactly needed.
I like to write the cleanest (X)HTML and CSS I possibly can to keep sites maintainable at code level. I have experience with the blogging software Wordpress and Expression Engine, the latter used on this very site. As well as javascript frameworks JQuery and Mootools.
